PVFPD Reorganization

In May 2025, the Pajaro Valley Fire Protection District (PVFPD) Board of Directors voted to initiate the Local Area Formation Commission (LAFCO) application process to pursue a reorganization with Santa Cruz County Fire Department, CSA #48.

Presented below are documents related to the PVFPD reorganization efforts, as well as materials outlining additional funding sources the District has explored or pursued over the years. The documents are listed in the order in which they were originally presented.

 

Educational Community Workshops
PVFPD will be hosting two events specifically for the Pajaro Valley residents. These workshops are meant to provide information about the reorganization, but more importantly, answer questions directly from the community. Below is more information about the upcoming workshops:
